In the quarter to December 2011, the employment rate of working age men in London was 73.4% , which is 1.9 percentage points lower than the rate for the UK (75.3%).

The male employment rate fell by 1.4 percentage points compared to the previous quarter. The national rate increased by 0.2 percentage points over the same period.
